Chicago and Road Tripping

Wow so it's been awhile since I last updated my blogg, but a lot has been going on.  Last week I left Hawaii to attend Robins graduation in Chicago.  She graduated boot camp and now has officially became a Navy Seaman.  I am very proud of her!  My brother Josh, sister in-law Mary, and my niece Alyza made the drive from Virginia Beach to cruise Chicago as well and watch Robin.  Sarah and Robins dad Sixto, made the trip too.  So did my mom and dad.
Chicago was awesome.  I have never cruised in Chicago before and it was nice seeing the city.  We cruised the city all day Saturday and Sunday.  It was tiring, but worth it for sure.  I got to hang out with Robin for the first time in 2 months.  It was an amazing feeling, but sad at the same time for some reason.  I guess it's because I only had those 2 days to be with her and I won't see her for another 2 or 3 or 4 months.  Who knows.  I'm really missing her a lot already and it's been a very difficult time in my life dealing with being away from her.  She means the world to me and I know I will be back to see her again.  I love her very much.  I now just need to focus on what I need to do and that is take care allkines in Bodyboarding.  I am pumped and ready for sure.
After Chicago, my mom, dad, and Sixto planned a road trip in the US zones.  We took a train from Chicago-Salt Lake City, Utah.  It was a 30 hour train ride, but it was nice sharing that experience with my family.  We arrived into Utah on Tuesday night around 1130pm and drove straight to Grand Teton in Yellowstone National Park which was a 6 hour car drive into Wyoming.  We've been site seeing all over Yellowstone and I must say that it is one of the places that has blown my mind.  The scenery is beautiful and breath taking.  The wild life is just crazy.  I love this place and would love to come back for sure.
We are now in a small town called Cody in Wyoming just outside of Yellowstone.  We are going to take a 7 hour drive to Mount Rushmore tomorrow morning.  I amped excited and stoked!
This past week has been a lot of ups and downs.  I am trying to deal with being away from Robin for awhile and trying to accept it.  It's just hard, but I know we will get through it and I'll be with her in no time.  My parents have been amazing and so has Sixto during this road trip.  I love traveling with them and this road trip has been one of the best.  "Enjoy every moment life has to offer because you never know if you'll ever experience that moment again."  Life is good :)  aloha and mahalo for all of the support!
