It's Official!

The No.6 is proud to announce the signing of Jacob Romero to the Factory Team. Born and raised in Waiehu, HI Jacob took to the water with riders like Sean Virtue, Jeff Hubbard, and Kyle Maligro as influences. These riders would fuel Romero's progressive-avant guard aerial tactics as he was able to hone his skill at breaks such as Kahului Harbor. 

"I chose No.6 because I've always had a great relationship with the people behind it and they are one of the top US brands! Also, there team is One of the best! The quality of their boards are next level," says Romero.

"The No.6 has always been a supporter of riders that can carve an individual style amongst the mass of riders out there and JRom is capable of doing this in AND out of the water…a truly inspiring individual in this sport," claims Dale from The No.6.

Jacob will release a Signature series with No.6 that will feature his signature curve in 42", 41", and 39" lengths in bat tail and crescent tail, Freedom Six™ PP Core with 1x stringer and new Mesh composite and custom deck contours. Extremely lightweight and designed to handle the rigorous and unpredictable style that Romero encompasses.

JRom will be working on a set of new video-casts as well as continuing the World Tour Top 16 throughout 2013 and into 2014. Welcome aboard Jacob !
